The GO Project Children’s Adventure Camps are our fastest growing programs yet! For 5 days, participants and youth leaders engage in fun, meaningful activities in their communities and learn about how they are being called into action in their own lives. Activities may include visiting a food bank, meal program, senior’s residence, conservation authority, or many other options depending on the local host community. Throughout the time in community, the participants are having fun playing games, making crafts, creating relationships and engaging in various stories of action throughout Scripture.
Ages of the participants are going into grade 2 to finishing grade 7, unless specifically stated.
Our programs are divided into geographical locations based on United Church of Canada Conferences: London, Hamilton, Toronto and the Maritimes. Please look at each page and see where we are hosting programs within those locations – most are outside of the cities named.
Each program requires teen counselors for the week depending on the amount of participants.
We are still confirming 2019 programs, if your community is interested in hosting an Adventure Camp, read the Intro Package, and contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
